AGENDA FOR CHANGE

The Moldova Civil Society Strengthening Program (MCSSP) is seeking applications from Moldovan nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), leaders in their fields, who will set, promote and implement reform agenda in their area of expertise.
Through the Agenda for Change Program, MCSSP aims to build a strong core of Moldovan civil society organizations (CSOs) which are both 1) technical leaders in their sectors, able to serve and represent the interests of their constituencies and 2) transparently managed organizations with strong internal governance systems.
Applicant Profile: CSOs, leaders in their fields with strong advocacy expertise and experience in networking and engaging constituents.
Application process: Applicants must submit Project Proposals not later than March 31, 2010, 16.00 local time to AED’s office at 202 Stefan cel Mare Ave, 8th floor Chisinau, MD-2004.
Grant Size: between MDL 300,000 – 600,000 MDL for two years (depending on the numbers of grants awarded), including 10% of the overall grant amount earmarked for organizational development activities.
Project duration: 2 years.

On March 17, 2010, at 14.00, AED holded a Bidders’ Conference for interested organizations. This Conference provided the opportunity for potential applicants to raise technical questions.
